The temperatures have fallen and our gardens are resting during this chilly season. Fortunately for us gardener’s in the south, a few herbs withstand the cold. Rosemary is a hardy herb and wonderful added to recipes. I prefer to use fresh rosemary as it is refreshing and less pungent.
If you have fresh rosemary, cut a stem off at the base and strip the leaves off. Save the rosemary branch and add to the grill for added aromas when grilling.
My Rosemary Orange Chicken is a simple dish to make which is appreciated during this busy season. Serve this dish with a nice quinoa or rice for a comforting meal.
Wishing all a very healthy happy New Year.
