Carole Forêt is a fine art painter and instructor residing in Huntsville, Alabama. An Auburn University graduate, Carole hails from a long lineage of talented artists in her family and has painted professionally and taught and inspired students for 27 years. A member of Oil Painters of America, she has been featured frequently in the press, including Southern Living Magazine (2008), No’Ala (2012) and been profiled by Alabama Public Television’s Alabama Art Seen (2013), and was the keynote speaker for the Congressional Art Competition in Washington D.C. at our nation’s capitol in 2013. Another distinction was being selected for the Huntsville Museum of Art’s Red Clay Survey in 2014.
Carole owned Carole Forêt Fine Art Gallery the past 25 years, first in the panhandle of Florida and then in Athens, Alabama, and now with her move to Huntsville 4 years ago, she works from her home studio and markets her work online and in art exhibitions. Carole is currently working on a large project for the Huntsville Botanical Garden and continues to paint other commissioned work and teaches art.
