Session 1: Solar Eclipse
***Our K-2nd and 3rd-5th Grade classes are full and due to supply and space limitations we are unable to accept walk-ins. We would love for you to join us for our future programs!
***6th-8th Grade has been moved to the Carriage House and will be taught by Soozi Pline, HBG Director of Education, and Jerry Deener.
The solar eclipse happens on August 21st and we want your students to be ready for it! Come learn about what happens when a solar eclipse takes place and why they happen so rarely.

Session 2: From Living Organism to Coal: How Coal is Formed
With our dinosaur exhibit going “extinct” we will explore how prehistoric life became the coal we use as an energy source today. We will also explore the history of coal mining in the state of Alabama.
