Scarecrow Trail (September – October) 2019 is all about celebrating Alabama’s heritage and that includes a new theme for our annual Scarecrow Trail! Interested in showcasing your organization’s bicentennial pride? To participate in the 2019 Scarecrow Trail fill out this form. Pumpkin Display (October only) The horticulture staff and volunteers will be creating topiaries of insects and mushrooms using pumpkins and squash from Calvert Farms, including varieties such as “Kandy Korn plus,” “Blue Jarrahdale,” “Sunlight,” “Mellow Yellow,” and autumn blend Cushaws Gourds.
