Take a trip back in time at the Garden. More than 20 different displays of life-sized, realistic dinosaur models will be located throughout the Garden - in the Encore Garden; along the Dogwood Trail, in the Nature Trail; in the Children's Garden and in the Nature Center.

The models, created by master artist Guy Darrough at Lost World Studios come in all shapes and sizes. The exhibit of more than 30 pieces include a 30-foot Maiasaurus, a 20-foot Allosaurus, a 20-foot tall Astrodon, and even a 4-foot long Arthropleura - a giant millipede.

Dinosaur Uproar Events

As part of the exhibit, the Garden will feature guided Dino-tours, adult and children's educational programs, members' and community social events. A partial list of events follows. Please check back from time to time for more information on programs.

• Extinction Party & Carnivore Cookout

  Tuesday, July 15, 6:30 p.m. The dinosaurs will be extinct after July 15th. Come join us for a last look at the dinosaurs. Outback Steakhouse will be cooking brontosaurus burgers for us to enjoy. The cost is $5 for kids and $8 for adults. Reserve your meal by contacting Special Events at 430-3572, ext. 241 or reservations@hsvbg.org. Reservation deadline is July 11th at noon.
  
  

• Free activity pack

  Beginning May 24th, the first 50 families to arrive on Saturdays will receive free Dinosaur UpRoar activity packs for the children. The activity pack includes a coloring book, kid's activities, a full-size dino poster and much more. This promotion will extend through the end of the dinosaur exhibit on July 15th.
