A Chocolate Dipped History
Saturday March 2, 2013:
Boeing Education Classroom
12:30 pm-3:30 pm
Who doesn’t enjoy that first bite of chocolate? It can be dark, light, in a bar or as a kiss. We invite you and your little ones to join the Children’s Education Department at the Garden in celebrating and learning about the history of chocolate. Located in the Visitor Center, right next door to the Chocoholic’s Delight event in the Nichols’ Arbor, this is a wonderful place to drop your child off and enjoy a little time for yourself. You can sample your chocolate and they can sample (and play with) theirs. Adults are still welcome to stay if they would like.
Activities include a craft, hands-on educational activities using chocolate candy, trying out some chocolate samples and making your very own chocolate treat to take home.
The fee for children is only $8 each for non-members and $6 each for Garden members; adults are no additional charge. Garden admission/membership is required. Drop in and explore the wonderful world of chocolate.
