Whether you have a set date night with your sweetheart or are just looking for an impromptu way to enjoy an evening with friends, the Garden’s Sips ‘n Sounds series is just the ticket! Each event will
feature a wine tasting with scrumptious pairings, as well as a presentation by Fred Wright of local wine distributor United-Johnson Brothers of Alabama. And that’s not all! Live
entertainment will set
the tone for each evening, filling the Garden’s intimate Nichols Arbor
with a delightful auditory backdrop to conversations both intimate and
casual.
With these special evenings planned for the series, there’s no shortage of themes to choose from:
- August’s Tour of Italy: August 15th. Delight in an enchanted evening of outdoor “travel”
through the Garden, strolling from one “region” of Italy to another while snacking on Old
World staples like olives, cheese, and antipasto.*
- November’s ‘Tis the Season: November 7th. Partake in a festive winter fête complete with holiday-perfect wines and seasonal hors d'oeuvres.
You’re sure to
enjoy this unique tasting experience. So save the date – or dates! – and
join us from 6 - 8 p.m. each of these evenings for a sensational
celebration of Sips ‘n Sounds! A limited number of tickets will be sold.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for
$25/person for Garden members and
$35/person
for the general public in the Shoppe at the Garden or on our website.
Tickets, if available, may be purchased the day of the event for $40. Ticket price includes a $10 coupon for a private shopping experience in
the Shoppe at the Garden immediately following the event.
* Weather permitting. In the event of rain, the evening’s activities will moved to Nichols Arbor.
