2011 Scarecrow Trail Winners
We want to thank everyone who worked so hard on the scarecrows and hay bale art for the 2011 Scarecrow Trail - Every Crow Has a Story! The beautiful skies and cooler temperatures - along with your creative masterpieces - have brought out an unprecedented number of visitors for this early in the season.
Our voting results are in and here are the winners:
Favorite Adult Novel Character:
1st Place ($100 prize) goes to: Miranda Priestly from "The Devil Wears Prada" constructed by the Women's Business Center of North Alabama
2nd Place ($50 prize) goes to: Scarelock Holmes and the Hound of Huntsville constructed by the Newcomers Club of Greater Huntsville
Favorite Children's Novel Character:
1st Place ($100 prize) goes to: Jack and the Beanstalk constructed by the North Alabama Friends School.
2nd Place ($50 prize) goes to: Queen of Hearts constructed by Kirkland Custom Cabinets, Inc.
3rd Place ($25 prize) goes to: The Cat in the Hat by MOMS Club of Huntsville-South.
