A Day of Chocolate Delights for all ages at Huntsville Botanical Garden

Huntsville, Ala – If you are a chocolate lover, you don’t want to miss Chocoholics Delight Saturday, March 2, 2013, an hour-long chocolate indulgence located in Nichols Arbor at Huntsville Botanical Garden. Vendors Gigi’s Cupcakes, Nothing Bundt Cakes, The Melting Pot, Whistle Stop Sweet Shop, Dove Chocolate Discoveries and Sweet As Can Be Confections will provide samples of their products during two, one-hour seatings, 1 p.m. and again at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 per seating (plus Garden admission for non-members) and are limited.

Bring the kids along and let them experience a Chocolate Dipped History. Children are invited to celebrate and learn about the history of chocolate. Located in the Linda J. Smith Visitor Center, next door to "Chocoholic's Delight" in Nichols Arbor, this is a wonderful place to drop your child off and enjoy a little time for yourself. You can sample your chocolate and they can sample (and play with) theirs. Adults are still welcome to stay if they would like. Activities include a craft, hands-on educational activities, trying out chocolate samples and making your own chocolate treat to take home. Drop in anytime between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for A Chocolate Dipped History. The fee for children is $8 each for non-members (plus Garden admission), $6 for Garden members.

Garden hours are Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Garden admission rates are free for members and for non-members the standard rates for adults are $12 and children 3-18 are $8. Children under 3 are free.
