In response to COVID-19, the Garden is temporarily closed to the public.
Our priority is the health and safety of our guests, volunteers, and employees. As we navigate these uncertain times together, the Garden remains committed to acting in the interest of public health and the well-being of our community. Currently, in consideration of the Safer at Home order implemented in Alabama, this commitment means that our doors remain closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
For more information about Garden events, programs, and other activities during this closure, please see our FAQ.
While the Garden is closed, we will continue to serve our community and fulfill the work of our mission. We will be sharing the beauty of the Garden on social media, providing at-home activities on our website, and exploring new, exciting ways to connect with you virtually. Stay tuned and stay connected!
Thank you for your continued support of the Garden. We look forward to welcoming you back through our doors again soon.
We’re committed to sharing the beauty and science of plants with you virtually.

We need your help.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on admissions, events, and other public activities for funding.
