Divide and Conquer! Getting the Most Out of the Plants You Have | Virtual Class

Let’s divide and conquer…. PLANTS! Learning what plants you can divide will save you money and allow you to have more of the plants you love. Your instructor, Rebecca Turk, will demonstrate all of the basics to properly and successfully divide bulbs, grasses, perennials, and more. Rebecca will share industry tips and tricks that will aid in gardening success! The class will end with an open Q&A session, allowing plenty of time to discuss how to apply what you’ve learned. Attendees will receive a digital handout of all the plants discussed and tips/tricks covered that evening.

About the Virtual Classroom: This class will take place in the comfort of your home via Zoom Webinar. Zoom Webinar has no additional cost and is very easy to use. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. Once you have registered for the class, you will receive an email confirming your registration and what to expect from a virtual class using Zoom Webinar. You will have everything you need to feel comfortable prior to the class beginning!

About Rebecca Turk
Rebecca holds a Master of Science degree in Horticulture from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Stephen F. Austin State University. She discovered her passion for public horticulture and teaching through her mom and her various employments at the SFA Mast Arboretum, “Nacogdoches Naturally” Education Program, Missouri Botanical Garden, JC Raulston Arboretum, and Moore Farms Botanical Garden. At the Huntsville Botanical Garden, she serves as the Director of Learning and Public Engagement. She has a strong passion for educating the community, leadership, public horticulture, and sharing her love for the outdoors while teaching. She and her husband Christopher love their shared interest of horticulture and enjoy every moment outside with their sweet daughter Emilia.
