Holiday Spirits 101: Using Fresh Fruits and Herbs to Bring Your Party to Life

With the holiday season just around the corner, join us in exploring how simple botanical ingredients can add a fresh and unique twist to your holiday party bar, no matter your level of experience.
In this introductory class, you will learn how to make drinks and create wine pairings that will please even the pickiest guests, all while using fresh, natural ingredients that can be sourced locally (or even grown in your own backyard!). Participants will practice making a batch of sangria with fresh fruit, learn how to infuse and flavor liquors with natural ingredients, and pick up some easy tips for serving drinks in the best glassware and with the best food pairings. With hands-on instruction and a “cheat sheet” to take home, this class will have you hosting holiday parties like a pro in no time!
Charcuterie boxes and drink samples will be provided during the class, so you can eat, drink, and relax, all while learning the basics of hosting a botanical-inspired bar this holiday season.
- Participants must be age 21+. Please bring your photo ID to the class.
- Seating will be spread out to help facilitate social distancing.
- In accordance with guidelines from the ADPH, face masks or face coverings must be worn indoors any time participants are not eating or drinking.
