Home Propagation 101 | In-person Class
June 4, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
You can never have too many plants! Propagating at home is an excellent way to make more plants from what you already have in your own backyard! Propagation is the practice of growing your own plants from seeds or cuttings.
In this class, the Garden’s Greenhouse Propagator, Mason Schroon, will show you everything you need to know about home propagation. You will have the opportunity to practice propagating annual and perennial plants from the Garden (and then take your newly propagated plants home with you!). With demonstrations and hands-on instruction, you will leave this class with the foundational knowledge you need to start propagating your plants in no time.
Capacity for this class is limited, so reserve your spot today!
Additional Information: This class will take place in-person at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. All visitors, staff, and volunteers are asked to follow the recommendations of the CDC regarding face masks/coverings and social distancing. These recommendations may vary based on an individual’s circumstances, so individuals should refer to the CDC to determine what recommendations are applicable to them.
