How to Prune Your Trees
January 19 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Instructor: Chris Stuhlinger, Certified Arborist
This one-session class (repeated February 8) will review the best management practices for pruning trees and shrubs, demonstrate proper pruning techniques, and recommend pruning tools. Included will be reasons for pruning, types of pruning, how a tree responds to pruning, and timing.
We will meet in the Anderson Education Classroom in the Nature Center for an introduction to pruning, and then walk outside to demonstrate pruning techniques. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. In case of truly unpleasant weather, the class will be held inside.
