Living Arrangements | Virtual class with Kit Option

Flower arrangements are a beautiful way to bring color and life into your home, but cut flowers often fade quickly. The secret to an arrangement with lasting color? Bulbs! In this class, Brent and Becky Heath of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs will teach participants how to create beautiful, long-lasting arrangements with live bulbs. The class will cover the particulars on which bulb cultivars are more suited for pot culture and how to plant them. Brent and Becky will demonstrate the most innovative methods of creating the forced container, the window box liner, the layered patio planter or individually potted bulbs.
You can participate in this virtual class by viewing it on its own, or you can add a DIY kit to make a living arrangement of bulbs in your own home! Kits will need to be picked up at the Huntsville Botanical Garden and will not be mailed.
Kits include a 12” container filled with soil and 5 layers of bulbs in vibrant yellow, red, and orange.
In order to receive a kit, please register no later than March 20, 2022.
About the Virtual Classroom: This class will take place in the comfort of your home via Zoom Webinar. Zoom Webinar has no additional cost and is very easy to use. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. Once you have registered for the class, you will receive an email confirming your registration and what to expect when using Zoom Webinar. You will have everything you need to feel comfortable prior to the class beginning!

World-renowned bulb company Brent and Becky’s Bulbs is located in Gloucester on a 28-acre farm. From their property, Brent and Becky are pleased to be flower bulb suppliers, garden writers, photographers, lecturers, consultants, and educators. Over eight acres of the property is dedicated to educational gardens where they invite their visitors to learn more about sustainable gardening.
