About Anu Goedhart:
Anu Goedhart is a Natural Areas Horticulturist at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. She works with Mike Shelton and Leanne Ferryman to manage the natural areas of the Garden including the Mathews Nature Trail, Dogwood Trail, and Bush Azalea Trail. Anu recently graduated with a masters in Conservation Horticulture and certificate in Restoration Ecology from Auburn University. Prior to working at the Garden, she worked on the special collections team at Donald E. Davis Arboretum in Auburn, Alabama, focusing on conservation of plants native to Alabama and the Southeast. From plant surveys to monitoring and restoration projects throughout the state, Anu is happiest when she is outdoors and is very grateful to be able to share that love with the Garden. She loves learning about Alabama’s beautiful biodiversity and will take any opportunity she can to put on her waders and explore creeks and wetlands.
