In this class, you will test your propagation powers with dividing perennials, practicing the art of grafts with annuals and perennials and even creating crazy combinations of plants with budding. You will be amazed at the variety of combinations you can make with the knowledge you learn from this class. About the instructor:
Mason Schoon is the Greenhouse Propagator at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. He graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in May of 2021 with a BS in Biological Sciences and with a concentration in Ecology. After moving to the Huntsville area in 2012, he became fascinated with the diverse local flora and now grows a wide variety of the Garden's plant material via germination and various propagation methods.
