Recurring event see all

November 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Although the show-stopping colors of spring and summer may get more attention, there are countless plants that can add unique interest and beauty to your home garden during even the coldest months. Join landscape designer and author Brie Arthur for a deep dive into the plants that provide interest and aesthetics throughout the seasons.

In this three-course class, Brie will guide you through an exploration of her favorite winter indulgences, focusing on plants hardy for our area (zones 6-9). From trees and shrubs to winter flowering selections, we will look at the unique branches, bark, berries, and foliage that create year-round beauty. Brie will also cover basic design strategies for maximum winter interest, as well as quality sources for the right kinds of plants. If you want a home garden that offers unique beauty in every season, you won’t want to miss this class!
