STEM Camp Scholarship Application

Huntsville Botanical Garden’s camp programs are immersive experiences designed to foster your child’s connection to the natural world. Through hands-on, engaging STEM activities, the Garden’s certified instructors guide campers to explore nature, ask questions, solve problems, and grow into thoughtful stewards of their environment. Campers participate in a variety of outdoor projects and play activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration. 

These STEM Camps are for ages 4-12 and take place in spring, summer, fall and winter.

• This scholarship is to provide opportunities for all youth to attend the Garden’s STEM Camps.
• To qualify for this scholarship, you must be able to show proof of a valid EBT card.
• Scholarship funding will remain open until all funds are used.
• Families are eligible to receive one scholarship per child, per season.

You must fill out one scholarship form per child if applying for multiple children. All children must be toilet-trained. If you have any questions about your child’s eligibility, please contact stemcamps@hsvbg.org before applying.

Extended Care

Transportation to and from the Garden’s STEM Camps is NOT provided.

If needed, this scholarship can also cover extended care in the morning and/or afternoon.

Parents/guardians may drop their campers off starting at 7:30 AM.
Camp officially begins at 9 AM.

(Afternoon Extended Care is offered for full-day campers only each day of camp.)
Camp officially ends at 4 PM.
Extended Care runs until 5 PM.

Parents/guardians must pick their camper up by 5 PM, no exceptions.
