About Your Instructor:
Karolina is a dedicated educator with 10 years of experience in teaching people of all ages. She began her career in New York City, where she developed creative solutions for gardening in small spaces. Currently, she serves as the Horticulture Educator at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens, where she shares her knowledge and love of plants with the community. Karolina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Kean University. Now living in Decatur, she enjoys exploring the numerous outdoor recreational activities that Alabama has to offer in her free time.

Gardening with Kids: Herbs

Join us for a delightful family workshop where we explore the wonderful world of herbs and their culinary uses. Learn about various herbs that thrive in the autumn season and discover easy, family-friendly recipes to cook with them. This workshop promises to be a fun and tasty experience for all ages, offering practical tips and delicious recipes to enjoy together.

Registration includes one adult, one child, and supplies for one project.

Additional Information: This class will take place in person at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Attendees will enter the Guest Center and check in at the front desk. From there, a staff member will guide you to the class location. The class will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., so please arrive at the Garden 10 minutes early to allow time to travel to the class location.
