Sit back, relax, and take in the sights from the comfort of our open-air tram as you are guided through some of the Garden’s most beloved areas. Along the way, our knowledgeable tour operators will share fascinating stories about the Garden’s history and highlight seasonal points of interest you won’t want to miss.

Tram Pass

Passes may be purchased in advance online, or at the admission desk before your tour.

  • $4 per passenger (ages 3+) · available as an add-on to daily admission 
  • Children ages 2 and under must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.
  • Before boarding, all passengers must check in at the admission desk to receive tram pass.
  • The 8-passenger tram is ADA-accessible and includes a ramp. It can accommodate one guest using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, along with other passengers.
  • The 11-passenger tram features running boards on each side for easier entry.

Seasonal Note: Daytime tram tours will pause after November 8, 2026 for Galaxy of Lights and the winter season. 

Details & Departure Times

Perfect for visitors of all ages who want to see more, learn more, and make their visit even more memorable.

  • Pickup Location: Propst Guest Center
  • Tour Length: Approximately 45 minutes with 3 additional stops
  • The time listed on your ticket is the departure time. We ask that guests arrive 3-5 minutes early.

Departure Schedule

  • 11-Passenger Tram: Departs at 9:30 AM and at the bottom of each hour thereafter.

  • 8-Passenger Tram (ADA): Departs at 10:00 AM and at the top of each hour thereafter.

At each tram stop, guests may hop off to explore or hop back on if space is available.
Weather Notice: The Garden Tram will not operate during severe weather.
