National Public Gardens Day

National Public Gardens Day, occurring annually on the Friday before Mother’s Day, is a day to promote awareness of botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, historic gardens, or any of North America’s public gardens. Bring friends and family, and enjoy the beauty of Huntsville Botanical Garden for free on this day!

Meowy Mondays

Mondays, year-round

Get ready to purr with delight, because Meowy Mondays are debuting at Huntsville Botanical Garden starting April 1—no fooling! We’re opening our lush, vibrant garden paths to our feline friends and their humans every Monday. To join in the fun, make sure your kitty companion is either safely leashed or cozily tucked into a pet-approved carrier, stroller, or backpack. With a special cat admission of just $5, we’re embracing the joy and connection that comes from experiencing the natural world together.

Working Women’s Wednesdays

Wednesdays through June 27
5-7 p.m.

Join Huntsville Botanical Garden and Star 99.1 in celebrating the incredible hardworking women of Huntsville! Introducing Working Women’s Wednesday, your midweek oasis at Huntsville Botanical Garden, happening Wednesday evenings May 1 through June 27 from 5-7 PM.

Indulge in music, cocktails, wine, and mouthwatering food specials while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. But that’s not all – we’re adding excitement with amazing prize giveaways every Wednesday night, hosted by STAR 99.1’s very own “Auntie of the Afternoon,” Leeann!

The more you attend Working Women Wednesday, the greater your chances to win the grand prize: a luxurious beach getaway to Holiday Inn Beach Resort at Panama City Beach! So, here’s to you, hardworking women – raise a toast and join us every Wednesday night for a well-deserved celebration. Cheers!

Cash bar and food available for purchase. There is no fee to attend this event and it is open to all adults; however, non-members who choose to explore the full Garden must pay admission.

Dog Days at the Garden

Thursday year-round during normal Garden hours

Embark on a garden adventure with your furry companions every Thursday throughout the year, during regular Garden hours (Including Golden Hour). Join us for a pet-friendly exploration of nature’s beauty!

Global Rhythm & Blooms

Thursdays through September 26

5 p.m. – Dusk

Global Rhythm & Blooms is an enriching event series dedicated to celebrating the vibrant tapestry of cultures from Huntsville’s international communities that make our city so special. Through a series of engaging and immersive experiences, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about diverse cultural traditions and contemporary expressions through music, dance, food, and drink. The event series will take place in the Cedar Glade on Thursdays through Sept. 26, from 5 PM – dusk. Join us on this enriching cultural journey every Thursday under the Cedar Glade canopy at Huntsville Botanical Garden.

Free for Members; Non-members $10 after 5 p.m. 

Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted. Supported by the City of Huntsville Music Office.

Golden Hour

Fridays through September 27
5 p.m. – Dusk

We’re keeping it local and putting the “happy” back into “happy hour!” Start your weekend with a cold drink, some yummy food from our café, and live music from local musicians in the shade of the Cedar Glade, then explore our 118 acres during the golden light of evenings at the Garden. Great for decompressing after work, enjoying a lovely date night, or simply seeing the Garden in a different light!

The Cafe will be open for food and beverages and a bar area will be available at the Cedar Glade.

Absolutely NO outside alcohol allowed on the premises.

Free for Members; Non-members $10 after 5 p.m.
