Volunteering is an impactful way to contribute to our mission.

With opportunities in events, administrative support, education, and gardening, there’s a role for everyone.

Interested in an area, but not sure you have the skills for a particular role? We provide training, which makes volunteering at the Garden a great way to learn new skills. Volunteers must be a minimum of 15 years old with an accompanying adult or 16 years of age or older to volunteer independently.

Youth Volunteer Program

The Youth Volunteer Program engages teenagers in hands-on outdoor work at the Garden during the summertime.
Under the mentorship of STEM professionals, participants gain real-world experience in horticulture, environmental education, and plant conservation, allowing them to explore careers in the green sector, cultivate their personal connection to the environment, and contribute to the work of the Garden in an authentic and meaningful way.

Corporate Volunteers

Corporate volunteerism at Huntsville Botanical Garden is more than giving back. It’s building enduring relationships, fostering deeper connections to nature, and creating a positive impact in our community.

The Corporate Volunteer Program at Huntsville Botanical Garden strengthens community connections, provides a platform for corporations to connect with nature, allows businesses to tangibly demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility, offers unique team-building and employee engagement opportunities, and provides access to connect through networking.
