Girl Scout Campout

About the Event
It’s time for a Girl Scout Campout in the Garden! We are excited to offer our campout specifically geared toward Girl Scouts in Alabama. This will meet a variety of badge requirements (listed below) for each level. (Please note, some badges will need additional support prior to and after the event.) We will have a hot dog dinner, s’mores to roast over the fire, and a chance to experience the Garden on a guided night hike. Join us for a night of fun and earning badges!
A minimum of 2 Leaders/Adults are required for every 10 Girl Scouts.
A minimum of 1 Leader/Adult is required for every 5 Girl Scouts.
Badge requirements to be completed during the event:

(Badges will not be provided by the Garden.)
Bring flashlights, tent, sleeping bags, pillows, and lawn chairs, and enjoy an evening outdoors with your Troop.
Schedule
Friday Night
- 4:30 p.m. Arrival and tent setup
- 5:30-6:30 p.m. Badge activities
- 6:30 p.m. Dinner (Hot dogs, potato salad, mac and cheese, and chips)
- 7:10 p.m. Badge activities continue
- 8:00 p.m. Night Hikes!
- 8:45 p.m. S’mores!
Saturday Morning
- 6:30 a.m. Breakfast
- 8:00 a.m. Pack up and clean-up
- 8:30 a.m. Head home

Individual Girl Scout: $25
Individual Adult: $25
Group of 5: $100
