About Your Instructor:
Cameron Oldham grew up in a family of avid outdoorsmen that loved gardening, so she has always been interested in protecting the beautiful environment around us. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2019 and decided to return to school to pursue her passion for conservation, obtaining a Master of Science in Biology in 2023. While at university, she taught several biology courses and conducted research on an endangered plant endemic to the area around her alma mater. After graduating, she worked as a plant merchandiser for Metrolina Greenhouses for over a year and currently serves as a Horticulturist at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, focusing on the garden’s natural areas. Her love for plants and her interest in sharing her knowledge with others has only increased since working at Huntsville Botanical Garden!
