Lite Bites and Garden Insights: Small Steps Now, Big Blooms Later

If you understand the importance of some small steps to take in your home landscape, your garden will thank you later! Come learn about these steps, when they need to happen, and why they matter. Topics will include tips on proper mulching, reducing weeds in a beautiful way, planting times for bulbs and wildflowers for big bloom impact, improving soil health, and more. Join us in the Arbor at 5 p.m. for appetizers, drinks, and socializing. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m., concluding around 6:30 p.m. Make sure you bring a pen and notepad so you can use these tips at home.

Dressed in your best 80’s attire, you’ll be transported to a high school homecoming like no other—one filled with mystery and suspense. As the evening unfolds, you’ll work with your table to uncover clues, solve puzzles, and unmask the culprit before it’s too late. 

This immersive experience is brought to life by the talented performers of Blue Melody Theatre, who will keep you guessing at every turn. Enjoy a delectable meal prepared by Romana J’s.

Shakespeare in the Garden: The Winter’s Tale

Join Huntsville Shakespeare at Huntsville Botanical Garden’s outdoor Amphitheater July 27, August 2, and August 10 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) for Shakespeare’s captivating story of jealousy, forgiveness, and redemption: The Winter’s Tale.  This 90-minute family-friendly version will take audiences on a journey to the imaginary seacoast of Bohemia, where ancient Greek oracles coexist with Renaissance sculptors and “what’s past is prologue.”

Nonmembers: $35
