Father’s Day Field Day

Sunday, June 15 @ 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Celebrate Father’s Day in the great outdoors with an afternoon of classic field day fun! Set against the vibrant backdrop of Huntsville Botanical Garden, Father’s Day Field Day on Sunday, June 15, from 3-6 p.m., brings back the joy of friendly childhood competitions—this time for the whole family.

Summer Solstice Concert

Friday, June 20 @ 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Celebrate the longest day of the year with an enchanting evening of music and nature at our first-ever Summer Solstice Concert. Featuring live performances by ensembles from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, this special event brings the magic of classical music to the Garden’s outdoor Amphitheatre.

Butterfly Release

Butterfly releases take place on select mornings May–September @ 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.

Guests of all ages will enjoy sharing in the magic of safely releasing live butterflies into the Purdy Butterfly House. This program begins with a brief presentation about butterflies and their habitat, followed by taking part in the safe restoration of our indoor butterfly population.
