‘Dating in the wild’ comes to Huntsville Botanical Garden at Spins & Sips: Singles Mixer & Dance

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (August 9, 2024) – Are you single and wanting to mingle? Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) invites single adults to an evening of connection, fun, and dancing at the Spins & Sips: Singles Mixer & Dance. This lively event will take place in the Garden’s Isenberg Grand Hall, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable night of mingling and movement on Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.

Registration open for new Garden Sprouts Pre-K program at Huntsville Botanical Garden

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (July 18, 2024) – Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) is offering a new and unique learning experience for 4- and 5-year-olds as it launches its new Garden Sprouts Pre-K program. Registration is open now for the fall semester which will start Sept. 4, 2024 and will go through Dec. 20, 2024.

Regency Era-themed mystery dinner joins Garden’s summer event line-up

(June 13, 2024) – Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) invites guests to step back in time to the elegant world of Regency England at an enchanting murder mystery dinner and interactive show. The Regency Whodunit Mystery Dinner is an evening of intrigue, delight, and delectable fare that is set amidst the backdrop of a royal scandal in the Garden’s Arbor on June 29 at 6 p.m.

Huntsville Botanical Garden to host Roots & Shoots Farmer’s Market

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (June 6, 2024) – Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) will host the new Roots & Shoots Farmer’s Market every fourth Saturday in June, July and August from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. Visitors are invited to shop for fresh, locally sourced produce, meat and handmade goods while supporting local growers and artisans.

Huntsville Botanical Garden and UAH partner for Shakespeare in the Garden

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (June 6, 2024) – Transport to “fair Verona” or journey to the imaginary seacoast of Bohemia as Huntsville Botanical Garden and UAH’s Huntsville Shakespeare present Shakespeare in the Garden. All are invited to experience alternating performances of Shakespeare’s theatrical masterpieces, Romeo and Juliet and The Winter’s Tale, held in the amphitheater at Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG).

Huntsville Botanical Garden celebrates National Public Gardens Day with free admission and new look

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 1, 2024) – On Friday, May 10, 2024, Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) invites all garden lovers, plant aficionados, nature enthusiasts, and curious visitors to enjoy free Garden admission in celebration of National Public Gardens Day.

National Public Gardens Day, occurring annually on the Friday before Mother’s Day, is a day to promote awareness of botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, historic gardens, or any of North America’s public gardens.

After more than a year of strategic research, community input, and careful planning, HBG is also taking that day to celebrate the launch of its new brand.

New Museums for All membership tier announced for Huntsville Botanical Garden

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (April 29, 2024) – Membership at Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) just became more accessible for those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits). Recognized by locals and tourists as one of the best attractions in the Southeast, HBG has added a Museums for All tier to its membership structure.

HBG has been a Museums for All participant for several years, providing a reduced admission rate of $3 per person (for up to four people per household) with presentation of EBT card and valid photo ID. In addition to this discounted admission, HBG has added a Museums for All membership tier, allowing qualifying individuals and families one year of garden membership for $25. This membership level has the same benefits as the Family membership (regularly-priced at $130).
