Yellow-billed Cuckoo

An exceptionally elegant migrating bird was observed feeding in the Garden’s tree canopy in the Azalea Trail. The elusive Yellow-billed Cuckoo breeds in Alabama and winters in South America. It was quietly dining on large caterpillars. A total of 21 species of birds was recorded during a two-hour birding walk.
