Join us at the Garden as we commemorate National Arbor Day, a nationwide celebration highlighting the vital role of trees and their profound impact on our communities. Immerse yourself with a thrilling 5k Race and an invigorating 3k Sapling Run! Let’s come together to honor the beauty and significance of trees in our lives.
As an ArbNet-accredited arboretum, the Huntsville Botanical Garden is committed to conducting tree science research, engaging in tree conservation efforts, and providing education and public programming on the importance of woody plants. The National Arbor Day celebration invites tree-lovers of all ages to demonstrate their support of the trees around us, and the Garden is proud to take part in the celebration by hosting Arbor Day 5k Race and 3k Sapling Run.
