Arbor Day Races

National Arbor Day is a nation-wide celebration of the importance of trees and their impact on our communities. Here at the Garden, we will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day with a 5k Race and 3k Sapling Run!
As an ArbNet-accredited arboretum, the Huntsville Botanical Garden is committed to conducting tree science research, engaging in tree conservation efforts, and providing education and public programming on the importance of woody plants. The National Arbor Day celebration invites tree-lovers of all ages to demonstrate their support of the trees around us, and the Garden is proud to take part in the celebration by hosting the inaugural Arbor Day 5k Race and 3k Sapling Run.
